Have you got problems to send your completed online forms /your completed PDF-online placement test?

Please check, if the configuration of your computer allows scripts. In order to send online forms, the configuration must be "allow scripts".

Please check, if you have installed an updated version of Adobe Reader. In order to send interactive PDF-forms you need version 8 or higher. You get the new version via free download from Adobe. The installation takes only a few minutes.

Fixing dates

First of all please send us an inquiry of dates. You may ask by phone call, send an e-mail or use this contact form (A). The form tells you, which information we need to send you a place offer for your language course. Better than inquiring for certain dates is to indicate a time frame. So we can offer you a place even if your most favourite dates should be occupied. Your inquiry of dates is not binding.

If you are a family or group, who consider to book a language course and not all of you are beginners of German: Please complete (each of you) our placement test (C) and send it to the Language Guesthouse. Completing the placement test, please don't use dictionaries, German textbooks or grammar books.

You will get a place offer in response within two days and information how to complete your registration.

 

 

Registration

If you agree with this offer and make the decision to book the course, please sent your registration with the remaining dates.
Do you have personal wishes or special requirements or needs concerning your language course, your accommodation, food or the activity programm, don't hesitate to let us know about.

What makes the Language Guesthouse so special, is that we pay high attention to respond your individual requirements. It's my aim and I do my best to accord each of my guests the language training and activity programm, which suits best to his or her personal wishes and interests.

To make a binding course reservation, the Language Guesthouse needs the following dates:

• Your name (first name, family name)
• You are male or female?
• Your address (street, building number/apartment number, post/zip code, place of residence, country of residence)
• Your telephone number (national code-city code-number)
• your e-mail address (compulory with online registratation)
• Your age
• A self-estimation of your German language skills: beginner /poor/ good / very good German skills?
• Your choice of course program/course package (number of weekly language and activity units)
• Your choice of accommodation (accorgding to the place offer you've got (bedroom or apartment)
• Your choice of meals (breakfast/ half board/ fullboard; self-catering is possible in the apartment only)
• The number of weeks you're going to study at the LG (according to the place offer you've got)
• Your personal questions, wishes, requirements
• Your confirmation of acceptance of the terms&conditions of the Language Guesthouse.
• If you are still underage, I also need name and address (billing address) of your parents or guardian.

Booking

Invoice/ Deposit

Having received your registration, we dispatch your invoice via e-mail. For reservations earlier than two months before the course starts a deposit of one third of the total course fee has to be paid on registration. The remaining two thirds are due for payment latest two weeks before the course starts. For bookings later than two months before your course starts, the total course fee has to be paid on registration. Your payment should be made at your earliest convenience after receipt of your invoice, We’re not able to keep the place offer open for you longer than fourteen days.
Your booking includes acceptance of our terms and conditions.
For long-term courses (more than 8 weeks) an individual agreement on deposit and further payments can be made.

Binding Reservation

Upon your first payment you will get a booking confirmation. Please notice that the reservation of your course place becomes binding only after receipt of this confirmation. From member countries of the European Union I would ask you for payment via bank transfer, for it is without bank charge for both sides. If you prefer a different way of payment (especially from countries outside the European Union), I can offer you the secure and comfortable payment via PayPal. Using the PayPal service, you can choose between different payment options including those, which are most popular in your country.

With your booking confirmation you'll get a document which is possibly required for your visa application at the German Embassy or General Consulate in your country..

 

Journey

Travel arrangements

Don’t forget to make your travel arrangements in time, book your flight or your railway tickets, check the validity of your travel documents and apply for new documents if required. Especially if you need a visa for entry, you should apply for it in good time. The responsible body is the German Embassy or Consulate General in your country, which can also provide you with further information. You should also take out a health and accident insurance for the time of your journey.

Arrival/ departure/ start of courses

Arrival respective departure day at the Language Guesthouse is Sunday. Your course normally starts on Monday. In case of exception a different agreement is possible.

Airport transfer (extra charge)

On your request we’ll collect you by taxi on your arrival at the airport of your choice*) and take you to the airport again for your departure back home. In this case please let us know your flight details in time.

Free Pick-up from/to the Main Station of Freiburg im Breisgau

On your arrival we collect you at the main station of Freiburg im Breisgau and take you there on your departure day. Please give us your travel details (arrival/departure time of your train) in time.
